Our Mission
MOONRAKER™ is a patented, autonomous lunar surface node and rover dock that houses, recharges and networks rovers at the lunar surface. Built for delivery on commercial lunar landers and NASA CLPS missions, it turns a single lander delivery into a persistent, multi-mission presence. It provides the power, communications and shelter that Artemis-era exploration and a permanent Moon Base will depend on.

Support
GALEX Space Systems is supported by the Space Alliance Technology Outreach Program (SATOP) and partnered with the Texas A&M University Department of Aerospace Engineering. Through this partnership, a Texas A&M aerospace engineering capstone team is building and validating the MOONRAKER™ prototype, from structure and docking systems to power and testing. TRL 5 testing is planned for Q2 2027 at the Texas A&M Space Institute’s new lunar surface test facility, taking MOONRAKER™ a step closer to flight on the Moon.
Innovative Projects

Mini Rover - Big Job
Compact rovers tasked with mapping, data collection and exploration. We build the garage.

MOONRAKER™
Rover Dock
A compact, modular docking and power station optimized for creating the infrastructure for lunar frontiers.

Deep-Space Array
Advanced signal processing hardware designed for data transmission across distances creating a MESH network for Moon Base infrastructure.
Core Technologies
01
Mesh network systems
Providing constant communications through advanced network of communications between nodes covering difficult environments for all on the surface and giving rovers a relay. Patent Pending.
02
Structural Integrity
Abrasive regolith, long lunar nights and extreme environmental swings are only a few of the problems to solve. Building a system to last for decades to come is our mission.

Orbital Navigation
03
Deep-Space AI

Self-correcting neural networks optimized for extreme latency environments, managing autonomous navigation and life support for the MOONRAKER™ Rover Dock.
04
Lunar Roadmap
Phase 01
TRL-5
Testing
Q2 2027: MOONRAKER™ V.2 autonomy and docking tests at the Texas A&M Space Institute lunar test field, next to NASA Johnson.
Phase 02
Lander Integration
Final flight design and testing for lunar lander for our first series of autonomous MOONRAKER™ Rover Docks on the lunar surface.
Phase 03
Commercial
Expansion
Scale integration of deep-space AI systems and advanced structural modules to support a sustained, multi-mission presence for Moon Base missions and beyond.
Securing long-term equity through strategic planetary infrastructure. Join the mission to build the foundation of a multi-planetary economy.
